Guitarist Rusty Wright has drawn on his family’s Southern roots and a wealth of blues, southern rock and legendary blues rock influences to craft his uniquely ‘bluescentric’ sound that leans on duet-style songs and showcases his flamboyant guitar style. Singer guitarist Laurie LaCross-Wright spent years touring the country with bands and as a solo entertainer before joining forces with Rusty in 1998. Since forming The Rusty Wright Band in 2004 Rusty & Laurie Wright have reached a global audience with five acclaimed albums of original works, a syndicated PBS concert, performances at top blues events across three continents and a recent induction into the Blues Hall of Fame®. The couple welcomes duo performance opportunities because it allows their songs and the stories behind them to shine in the warmth of an intimate setting. They will be performing tunes from their extensive catalog of music, including songs from their Billboard Top 10 album “Wonder Man,” and fresh new tunes from two upcoming releases.
