There are no musical boundaries for Storyline. Drawing from the best of classic and power rock, pop, blues, funk, jazz and soul, the five-piece ensemble gives a high-powered show that will energize any audience. “Our stories aren’t much different from the stories of the people who come to see us,” says drummer Tim Short. “We want to share what has become personal to us with these people – and we want to deliver this in an unforgettable way.”
Storyline plays music from the ’70s to present with selections inspired from the time when FM radio was king. Enjoy music from Led Zepplin to Fleetwood Mac, Toto to Heart, Steely Dan to Pat Benatar and many more! “What defines us is our passion,” says Short. “That has driven each member to contribute songs to the play list. Every song that the band performs has a personal story tied to it.”
Storyline shares a commitment to a dominating stage presence, to vocal harmonic excellence, to shredding guitar passages, to melodious and intricate keyboard accompaniment and to tight, driving and complex rhythms and grooves. The band is comprised of vocals, guitar, keyboards, bass and drums. Storyline has created an eclectic sound that encompasses the best elements of the musical genres that have been a part of the canvas of life.
